Biographical and Professional Information:
Murray Robertson is an artist and Master Studio Printer at Glasgow Print Studio - a print workshop originally founded in 1972 to develop and encourage the work of Scottish artists but has gained recognition as a major contributor to the promotion of printmaking within the contemporary arts scene, also maintaining a gallery that has attracted artists and exhibitors from throughout the U.K. and Europe. Robertson has been involved with the visualization of ideas in science since 1998, most notably "A Visual Interpretation of the Table of Elements" and the "ChemSoc Timeline" created for the Royal Society of Chemistry (U.K.). Murray Robertson exhibits regularly internationally and his clients have included Scottish Television and the BBC Visual Effects Department. He is presently working on a new set of images based around nanotechnology and molecular computers.
