Inspired by Isaac Asimov's Fantastic Voyage (1966), a jet-powered nanosubmarine flies past several red cells as it navigates its way through a human blood vessel. Brightly backlit endothelial cells protectively coat the blood vessel walls, and a large vascular bifurcation looms ahead. |
