Title: Life on a Mesoscopic Nanosphere
Date: 2000
Artist: Cameron L. Jones
Image Size: 120,029 bytes
Image Dimensions: 480 x 360 pixels. Initial Rendering: 2560 x 1920 pixels.
Image Palette: Color
Image Description: All perfect circles obey Pi. If I imagine an evolving city of symmetrical, self-similar Pi replicators - then I can equally imagine lines of influence creating waves of force in five directions. My nanosphere then hides infinite numbered complexity, and seen from a certain angle, now looks to you like a square. A pixel without closure - bursting at one end into a binary bit stream (or pattern) of mesoscopic nanospheres. Is this quantum reality in nanospace?
