contains an article and/or art that was originally
published in Scientific American. These are copyrighted
materials and cannot be used without our permission.
While we do sometimes grant permission to reprint our
articles and artwork, to the best of our knowledge no
such permission has been granted to you. If you have
already secured such permission, please let us know who
granted it to you. Remember, ONLY Scientific American has
the power to grant permission to reprint articles or
artwork that has appeared in our magazine.
