Bryan Bruns holds a Ph.D. in Development Sociology from Cornell University. His areas of interest include the role of technological change in international development, infrastructure governance, and dynamics of property rights institutions. He has also published and consulted extensively on public participation in water resources management. Publications include Negotiating Water Rights (London: Intermediate Technology Publications) and "Open Sourcing Nanotechnology Research and Development: Issues and Opportunities" Nanotechnology: Science and Technology of Nanostructures 12(3): 198-210.
