When tissue engineering advances to a point where people, if they can afford it, can alter their bodies &lt;em&gt;in vivo&lt;/em&gt;, will we see fashion shows devoted to the latest in shark skin mods that are, oh so, trendy with the kids?&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Given that we&#039;ve evolved from mercurial, easily bored bonobos can human relationships endure lifespans numbering in centuries?&lt;/p&gt;
