We're talking MNT here – not nanotech body armor. Big difference.

Don't you know that the US government has publically announced just recently some large financing for nanotech research of it's own. That kind of makes your conspiracy idea look kind of silly.

The US government is developing the technology on its own behind closed doors. The main reason why it is dismissing it publicly is because it thinks that if it publicly denies that it's possible, that the rest of the world will follow suit and consider it to be impossible as well, and will, thus, stop researching it.

It's all about power – and one thing is for certain…the US government considers MNT a threat, which is why it thinks that it, and it alone, should possess such technology.

Of course, the 'higher ups' will deny that such research is going on…but we all know better.
