lollu mannan: You didn’t get the point. This ranking shows the public interest in nanotechnology based on the origin of search on nanotechnology. This does not mean at all that nanotechnology research in india is the best or there are so many research institutes working on nanotechnology.

hello ,
Indian government has no website for nanotechnology still
how can google give this kind of result? India as the first place in nanotechnology? and also chennai? hyderabad? and also new delhi and delhi(both are not seperate) i am indian i know at what stage nanotechnology is in india and how the research is being done,so atleat google sholud correct the mistake or else nanodot sholud remove this page from site its confusing and misleading

india with more than 0.5 billion middle class can be on top but what is iran doing at no.2 and yes in india nano is a buzz but still i think things will go extreme when india is thiking fcosuing research and development in future on manfucaturing nano-devices. Also in india people feels that india needs to jumpin manufactoring area like china.

To Adam: My guess is that people are indeed doing more targeted, specialized searches, rather than just searching on “nanotechnology”.

To Nano News: Perhaps most Germans use a different search engine? This only covers Google searches.
