Oddly enough, this statement is true.  At the same time, *everything* &quot;is based on matter that is so small it exists in the atomic and molecular realm...&quot;

&quot;Nanometers exist in the realm of quantum physics…&quot;

Also true, if phrased a bit backward...might be more accurate to say, &quot;The rules of quantum physics begin to take effect at the nanoscale and smaller.&quot;  (I&#039;m not a physicist, so I can&#039;t vouch for the accuracy of that statement...)</description>
