I do think it is very good idea for they can help out each other. I know north Korea do have some bright
scientiests and I really think they should work together to develop nano tech. North doesn't to start a war and nobody wants to fightr now.

Sadly, I think Jay hit the nail on the head. If stem cells are any indication to South Korea's moral threshold, North Korea is supplying the subjects, and South Korea is supplying the $$$.

That is retarded (taking off Ph.D. hat and putting on common-sense hat). Why should NoKo or SoKo give a damn what you think ? Did they ask your permission before holding the conference ?

Making a living off a website = good. Dabbling in issues you do not understand = hilarious. By the way, no complaints about the Peopre's Lepubric of China (mass proliferator to NoKo, Packee-stan, Eye-ran, Eye-rack, etc etc etc) ? Of course not - there is money to be made in Shanghai. "Me love you long time".

Here is a question that is related to this: What do you think of this claim? Someone said "It does not matter who develops true molecular nanotechnology as long as it is developed. Even if the worst and most evil people build it, then it is out, and, we will all eventually get it, even if they use it for bad reasons at first." Is that true or false?

Hello Christine, This is really a bad idea. For all we know of North Korea & its leaders & the threat they pose to world peace, why would we even consider helping out the North with this new science. But never mind all that , South Korea is in such fear of the North that they don't want to do anything that will upset the North. Actions speak louder than words & so far North Korea will use this technology to blackmail the world, sell it to the highest bidder, & use it for their own advantage. The people will never see any benefit of this new technology. They'll be lucky if they get to eat.
