The view into the Atomic world provided stunning images. A motivation, at least in our context to explore more.
You commentary on the 2004 conference, and the complaints it created over the way the material was presented are interesting. The irony of it all is that when the Scientific culture presents information in dry analytical terms, people claim it is boring and ignore it. So the culture responds by presenting the same material in a more Jazzed way, only to be criticized for manipulating the facts.
I have succeeded with my program by manipulating the facts, using what ever means necessary to capture the attention of my target group. We need more, much more of the kind of work generated by the S3 group in Italy.
If the Science is sound, the means of presentation can only enhance it.
