Exactly as I see it. Humans are like those brave pre-cambrian single celled organisms that started the process of multi-cellular confederation; which lead to the cambrian "singularity". I think the same mechanism is at work. Does a mitochondria organelle, once likely an independently existing entity, understand that it is part of an emergent AI (us)? “We’re above the barrier — but this means we have a working model of self-improving AI: it’s us.”

Exactly as I see it. Humans are like those brave pre-cambrian single celled organisms that started the process of multi-cellular confederation; which lead to the cambrian “singularity”. I think the same mechanism is at work.
