&lt;p&gt;... for this review. Reading it, I now have a good answer for people when they ask me how society will continue once there is no scarcity. Just as lots of people make money by modding video games to create new experiences, people will be able to make money by modding real objects for you, since just like with computers, my guess is that it will be some time before Joe Sixpack figures out how to weild nanobots to change his mobile home into a mansion. I think that this also helps to explain, from another angle, how programmers will still have jobs in a society with no IP laws (i.e. programmers are paid to do mods that no one is doing on their own, but that someone reallys needs for their business or personal use).&lt;/p&gt;
